where it seemed like no space was left

The bench was initially created to meet several needs for the whole family in the bathroom: a place to leave clothes before bedtime, a seat to sit on, a step for my daughter to stand on, and an extra surface for everyday products. It took shape by making use of the small, unused spaces along the wall and the corners beneath the sink, and was designed to stand in bold contrast to the sink’s minimalist design.

The design activates small, often overlooked spaces along walls and in corners. Serving as a seat, shelf, or table, its soft, undulating form fits naturally into narrow areas without obstructing movement. As a modular element, it can be reconfigured and expanded to adapt to different settings.
